kickdown linkage

Hi. Sweden calling!!
After swaping my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l to a 360 in my CJ7 with a tf 999. i have a problem with the kickdown linkage and is wondering how to solve this in the smoothest way sense there is very litle space left

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR JEEP TIL YOU HAVE A PROPERLY FUNCTIONING KICK DOWN...... the Torque Flite Transmission is designed to have the kick down linkage functioning to tell the Transmission that it is in gear andd to raise the oil pressure to the clutch packs, no kick down equals a smoked Transmission . an easy way to solve this would be to use a cable like the one in the link or if you can find the correct factory linkage, also you can use a manual shift valve body.
