Anyone ever visited this place? Comments ? Pricing? I could call but would like to here from someone whos experienced this place before a long ride.

I have wondered about them since they always advertize in Craigslist but I don not need any stock parts so I never called them yet.

I know some that have called looking for parts and mentioned the parts were high priced and he was arrogant.

Some of his ads threaten to take all the Jeeps to the scrape yard (selling ploy) but he never does.

High priced and arrogant? Not a good mix for me. Especially after a long drive.

I actually just spoke to him. Seems like a really nice guy with fair prices. He is even going out of his way to find me a set of axles.

That "crushing jeeps" link on that page doesn't even seem legit, but I could be wrong. There is a lot of money in scrap metal these days so that might be true.

It may be true.
There must be money to be made in scrap metal because the junk yards around Fairbanks are crushing a lot of cars these days, and then they must be shipped thousands of miles to a smelter in the lower 48.

I've been looking for a used mc2100 all summer but they have become very rare around here due to car crushing.
