Koda's injured
I am so sorry to hear about this Dave, that really sux. I know he was a great companion and a Jeeper at heart. He was like this sites mascot. It's never easy to lose a faithful dog. My heart is heavy. So sorry for your loss.:(

As everyone else stated very sorry for your loss. We will all miss the photos of him in the Colorado mountains. It just sucks Dave , so sorry. :(

So sorry Dave. There are never enough words.

Dave, so sorry for your loss, I know what you are going through and there no words to relieve the pain. He is not suffering any more. No pain for him. The only thing to remember is the pain does ease with time.

This is truly sad for me to see, been there done that and shed the tears.
I know how you feel. I like my dog a lot, in fact I like her better than a lot of people. Very sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences Dave. I haven't been here too much of late and just read this. Damn.

I've said my final goodbyes to 7 canines now (the last one just last month) and unfortunately it doesn't get any easier with practice.

Again, my condolences.

Dave, I just saw this thread this afternoon, and I'm speechless. I just met Koda in Ouray in August and he was just an awesome dog. He was special, and it was easy for anyone to tell that. Irreplaceable.

That said, he was who he was due in part to how you raised him. So when the time is right...

Dave, I just saw this thread.
sorry for your loss.:( having just lost my lab a few months ago, all I can say is it sucks.

Im sorry to hear about this Dave. I hope your doing ok I don't know what I would do if my two dogs got hit.

Dave - Just saw this thread. As has been said, words simply aren't enough. This makes me remember my lost friends/dogs. Today I have no dogs, to many friends gone. Thinkin' of yeah my friend.

I'm truely sorry for your loss Dave. They really do become just another member of the family and losing one truely is losing a member of your family.

Thanks for all the well wishes.
Koda was a very good dog. I've never had such a good, obedient, loyal dog and I don't think I ever will again. I've had him since he was a pup. He was extremely smart and very easy to train. When I went to work I would always leave him in the house and he would never chew on my things.
We'd always say "everyone loves Koda" because he got along so well with everyone. When in public Koda would "talk" to get attention and get people to pet him. He would say something like "Rar ar war rar" and strangers, knowing he was trying to talk would answer back "Is that so?" or "you don't say"
He was a cool dog. I miss him.

Damn Dave... Just seen this. Really sucks man. Time will heal, but it still blows bad...

My dogs are like my children, and I've had to make that choice too...

If you believe in such things, he'll be waiting for you, but not yet...

 to Koda
