It is with great sadness that I tell you all of a fellow jeeper over on ECJ5 that lost his wife yesterday after an accident the night before (not jeep related as far as I know.) He and his wife both shared their CJ and trail rode together. His name is Lee and he goes by leecj5 on that forum. If you are a member there, you may wish to log in and let him hear from you. I would ask all to keep Lee and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Just two months ago my husband lost his best friend, gear head, and band member for over 30 years to the action of a drunk driver. We are still in shock that our friend is gone - I cannot imagine losing a spouse like that......

Life is short....Cherish each day....The friends we have, even here are a gift....

I am thankful for each of you I have gotten to know - I just wanted to say that!!

What we do in life echos in eternity. Live life like its the last day you have, and you'll get a different perspective. I tell my wife and daughter every time they leave me for anything, the store, gas, work, that I love them and I give them a kiss, cuz it might be the last time I could see them. It sounds cliche, but it's true.

Thank you for reminding us. I will call my family now and tell them how much I love them.

I didn't know Lee, but I will be Praying for his family and friends.

This is so true. My two kids lost thier mom in a accident when they were 7 and 9. The hardest thing I ever done was to wake them up and tell them. Ever since we live are lives like everyday could be the last.

So True, Cherish Each Day!
In just over a month, my daughter will have been gone for four years. I lost her when she was 14 years old due to an auto accident. As long as I live, I will never forget watching her leave the house for the last time.

Thoughts and prayers sent!
