lockouts and factory wheels

Last year I installed a new set of warn lockouts.now I am trying to find a set of factory wheels for my ride but I recall on warns website that it noted that factory chrome wheels wouldnt work with their lockouts why is that. will painted oem wheels work? I have an 85 CJ7

Never heard that one before. Know anyone that you could try one for fit.

The part that does not work is the chrome caps, they do not fit over anything but the OEM lockouts. The rims are not the problem, they still have to clear the hub which is no smaller than the warn lockout diameter.
