Looking at a Cj tomorrow.
An 8? Hope it works out!
you have not bought a jeep in , what is it? 3 or 4 months?? You should have the DT s by now.![]()
You should stop by my place on the way down and I'll drive out to blue bell with you. My cj is finally on the road
No top or doors? Hmmm. That would cost you another $200-$250 for the doors and $400-$500 for a half top or about $1K for a full hard top
$3,000 I'd say walk away, but then again it is a Scrambler, everything a CJ7 should have been. Then there's the junk under the hood, but parts for a 350 are easy to find. No big deal about the top, jeeps shouldn't sport a cage .... honestly I like the cab top better, the big ol' hard tops look big and bulky to me. But then again, it is a Scrambler with a good frame.
3k for the scrambler and 1k for the top 4k total is a decent price for a scrambler if it isn't rusted to he'll. I've seen scrambler in much worse condition for higher asking prices.
That being said I wouldn't make a deal if you can't work it so you get a top and doors.
Yeah definately not crazy about having to purchase a full top seperately. I also have a line on one in Jersey. Full top even better body and frame , some assembly required.![]()
I think I was just looking at new pics of that one. I thought of you. The frame looked pretty good on that one.

Just got off the phone with Jim , the owner of that Scrambler. Love his attitude and hopefully see this Scrambler in the flesh Oct. 5th.![]()
Wait what scrambler are you talking about.
