Loose steering box bolts

You grind off the head of the bolt from the outside, and just push it up into the frame, then fish the new nut through the slot in the frame and finaggle it into place. Leave the wire in place to help hold the nut still while you drive it home with the impact. Once the nut hits the frame it should stick it.

I"m following ya now! Just went and took a look at it and will give it a shot. Anything is better that cutting it at this stage of the game and I would hate to go have to work on my 77 Landcruiser! At least it has round headlights too! Cheers!
