Interior Low back seats

Just got a 1978 CJ7 and need seats. It has seats in it from a drag car. In fishing seat pedestal stand. I just got in a set of factory seat stands and was wanting to go with low backs. What else do I need and what's the best low back seats to get.

Does the driver side stand have the sliders? The driver and passenger stands are different heights to accommodate the sliders for the driver side. In terms of seats, I've used both Besttop and Smittybilt. The Smittybilts are less expensive, but I've never had a quality issue with them. It does partly depend on what your needs are. If you do a fair amount of wheelin' off road and off level, you may want to consider seats with more substantial side bolsters. VintageJeepParts.com has some great choices under $200.

Don't plan on serious off reading more flat land pasture riding.

Then probably those cheaper seats from Vintage Jeep Parts would be the way to go. I got a great pair of Smittybilt seats that are 3/4 height (should've got the ones with headrests) and their quite good. Nice bolsters, etc. But now I'm planning to get the ones with headrests, rear pockets, and seat warmers in them.
