Thanks, now the only problem is I flippin forgot to count while making them or lost one. Ehhh nothing ever wants to ride smooth not even my CJ. oh well back to the shop it is.

Nice! How did you get them cut out so nice? Plasma?

I too would like to know what the advantage is in boomerang shackles. I am guessing they are used when you have an interference problem like a bumper in the way or something like that?

I got this response from Old Dog about the boomerang shackles on another thread that I have,

They were designed for a jy, straight ones would hit the cross member in full stuff, so someone came up with these to stop it from hitting. They do nothing for a cj as we don't have that problem. Some cj people just think they look cool so they use them.

I used a 40 taper Haas Milling Center, I used two vices one vice was to drill the holes the second vice I had a plate that I drilled holes and tapped holes in to hold the part down and ran a 1/2" 4 flute em around it to make the 1" radius. Thank you!!
