I installed the MC2100 on my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and went with the manual choke. My question is can I add a high idle solenoid with a manual choke? When the winter gets here I may want to start it and let it idle for a few minutes before taking off. I have a one wire solenoid from a carb off a prev AMC 304 I had but wondering about the wiring on it and what it feeds from and when/how does it shut off?

Thanks!

As far as I know the high idle circuit on an MC2100 is also part of the choke circuit. I have a diagram saved on my PC at home, I'll double check when I get home. I've never seen (that doesn't mean that it can't be done) a manual choke with a high idle circuit on an MC 2100.
