If you dont know, and wont believe us how capable a nearly-stock TJ can be off-road, ask Joe Fanslau. Joe sent us photos of his lightly built but very muddy 00 TJ Sport Wrangler back in 2007. As photographed, the TJ is sporting a budget boost with Old Man Emu shocks, 31x10.50R15 BFG All-Terrains on Cragar 15x8-inch Soft 8 wheels, and 4.10 gears. Joe had plans to add a Dana 44 front and Ford 9-inch axle combo, stretch the wheelbase, add about 4-5 inches of lift, lockers, and more in hopes of building a crawler-bogger. Wonder if Joe was able to build the little TJ that so valiantly fought the laws of physics? Joe, you still out there? Let us know what happened to the little TJ that could.
