Measurement help

Can anyone with an early CJ7 with a factory back seat take some measurements for me? I need to know if there is at least 12.5" of space from the top of the tailgate to the seat back. I am trying to fit a 30"w x 12"t x 12" deep fuel cell behind the rear set. I know the width and the height are ok ( the tailgate is 17" tall) but I am not sure if there is room from the tailgate to the seat back. I would need a little extra room for the new bulkhead/firewall I would fab in. I do not currently have a backseat to put in and measure.

Yes on my '84 it has 12.5" from the top of the tailgate to the back of the seat.
