Hi all, I am looking for any information possible on how to tell the difference between years of Meyers Cabs (Pre 55 vs 55-75 vs 76 and newer).
76 and up frames are tilted back 1" more than 75 & earlier frames and have a different radius at the top of the frame. Early is flat and later has a curve. Early wiper motor outside of the frame and late inside.

Thank you for the pics!

They're asking 1$k or obo. So far this is the least expensive I've seen in the CO area for a 'complete' Meyer's Cab. Every other cab (within reasonable distance to me) has been missing various pieces of glass, or doors, or are heavy rusted / have dents not to mention most times more expensive even with the missing pieces.

Thank you very much for the info!

I know I'm not super close but I'd sell you the whole Jeep for 1,500

The rear of the door window is sloped in the OP pics which matches my '76/later top. Not a guarantee of vintage though.

I ended up turning down the Meyer Cab due to all the questions / uncertainty I had. However, I did just pick up a Koenig 520 Jiffy Cab for a good price. :)

How much? That model looks like mine id love to know what it's worth.

Post up some pictures when you get it installed if you would. Glad you found something.

I paid $300 for it, unfortunately it did not include the hardware (just the doors and roof) so now I'm in a hunt for pictures / information on the mounting hardware / hinges so I can duplicate / create some. I've found very Limited info so far in searching the web.

Since 3D scanners are becoming more and more of a 'nonprofessional only' item, I've got a long shot thought......

I'd be willing to pay for scan files of the door / windshield trim pieces and hinge plates for a Koening 520 to an intermediate year CJ5 . That way I could send the files off to a company that 3D prints in metal to make new ones :)

I may end up purchasing a scanner of my own sometime this year and if I do, I'd even travel CO (and the surrounding states) to meet with owners who have any hard tops in order to build a public library of various manufacturers / years / models of 3D scan parts for everyone to future printing.

That's a good idea TBH
