Model difference

This is my First post. I have a 1974 CJ5 . I keep seeing ads for 1976 and up CJ5 . Things like seats, and seat brackets, bumpers, and others. I have searched for some sort of post that spelled out the differences. Does anyone know why there are so few interchanges between the 72-75 models, and the 76 and up? Please Help, so I can resurrect the old gal soon.

72-75 are good years to own for many reasons as you will find out. Some parts will work, some won't.
