This is my First post:confused:. I have a 1974 CJ5 . I keep seeing ads for 1976 and up CJ5 . Things like seats, and seat brackets, bumpers, and others. I have searched for some sort of post that spelled out the differences. Does anyone know why there are so few interchanges between the 72-75 models, and the 76 and up? Please Help, so I can resurrect the old;) gal soon.
 
AMC did a major re-design of the CJ line for '76. There are some things that fit, some that fit with modifications, and some things that just don't fit at all...Welcome to the Jeep world and the Intermediate Jeeps Club! ('72-'75)

72-75 are good years to own for many reasons as you will find out. Some parts will work, some won't.
