Hey, first time jeep owner here looking for some answers. I got a jeep that was in decent condition, some small rust holes in the floor and window. i had a cracked header and had it repaired but noticed the motor sits in at an angle, looks like one motor mount/tower is bigger than the other. That causes the passenger side exhaust to hit under the floor when i trail ride. And i have a leak in the front of my intake gasket so i have to idel the 4 barrel carb up to make it stay running. That along with the exhaust leak and holes in floor makes driving the jeep toxic :)
So is it normal for the mounts to be differnet sizes on a AMC 304 or are those mounts from a V6? Any cheap fixes for the intake or do i have to take it all apart and get a new gasket. Looks like the guy before me chased the same problem. Thanks in advance guys!
