I'm new to the forum and confused. Swapping my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l for a AMC 360 in my 81 CJ8 . I have ordered the driver side chassis mount and it looks very much like the one that I have removed. Now I am not sure that I ordered the correct mount????

Polyurethane mounts ended breaking mine. :D

Pics help us understand better.

They look VERY similar with the difference being where the bushing rest. It is larger on the V8 bracket with a double stud used in the bushing instead of the 258s single stud.

Also make sure your block brackets are from a CJ/AMC 304 application as they too will look very close to the full size Jeep brackets. The CJ versions are not as deep to fit the narrower frame.
