I'm new to this site and would like to say hi to all. My CJ5 has a glass tub. I've recently purchased a Bestop Supertop, and now need to mount. Other forums have said that the standard hardware package included with the top does not work well on fiberglass. I've been thinking Wellnuts with brass threads and stainless screws through the tub top edge. Anyone tried this or any other suggestions?

I guess it depends on how your body is made. I used the standard hardware with the exception of the tailgate (I have no tailgate)
I used a kit from 4wd for the tailgate.

Thanks Old Dog. I live in a region where a lot of salt is used during winter. I've read where the standard screws will corrode and loosen up in the holes. Also, the tapping plates don't fit under the lip. This means that I would have to use nuts and washers to hold the rails down. I guess this is my logic for brass threaded wellnuts and S/S screws. As a side note, nice looking pooch in your post! I had a Lab for 16 yrs. Saddist day of my life was when I had to have her put down.:( Labs are great dogs and great friends!!
