my 77 Golden Eagle is a long way from soaring :(

i started a 77 CJ7 Golden Eagle project in the beginning of june and so far i have an extra frame (bought separate) ,the 77 (Golden Eagle), the 86 (doner Jeep) a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l (form doner and possibly T-18 Transmission ) also two front clips,another frame from doner, another automatic trans,2 transfer cases and a bunch of other misc. stuff and i mean ALOT!!! just got the doner tub off the other frame ready to clean the go to fab shop for rust holes that could swallow my son. but we are all prepared!!! i will keep this thread going daily!!!

Well, your ahead of me.

Right now mine is sitting, still assembled, with a flat tire and a dead starter.
Waiting for me to clear up some other projects, and get some more money together.

First time I looked at it, I thought I could get it on the road for a thousand bucks. Now, If I do every thing I wan't to on it, it will probably be between 3 and 4 thousand.

i have one in my town thats been vacant since the depression you should have an easy time getting sumpthin lol

well i still have to do a lot of stuff transfer the lift kit to the new frame with my engine and Transmission with my differentials to be under the new frame


was tryin to stay under 5,000 but that aint happenin!!!!

but if it looks good enough i should get maybe 20,000 out of it (DOUBT IT) and i am not going to get rid of it for any reason at all

I'm figuring I could probably make a profit if I ever wanted to sell, but I intend to take this Jeep to the grave...

i am probably going to do the same thing but im gonna baby it!!!!
