Members CJs My 83 & 84 Laredos

Have had my Laredo copper penny CJ for a while now and it is sweet as can be, the straight six is a gem to drive, but, decided to add a 84 CJ7 to the stable planning a complete redo this winter. the 84 has a AMC 401 recently rebuilt, momentum is then carried to the back via a 400 turbo tranny and then through a ford 9 inch rear end. planning a 4 inch lift, 35 tires, high back seats and a black with silver metallic paint. Gathering parts and supplies now for the transformation.
Back in the mid 80's built a 79 CJ5 Renegade with AMC 304 3 speed and reconstructed it with 42 super swampers and drove it everywhere. Ended up putting 48 inch floaters on her and floated her on water wherever I could find it. Then eventually work really took over and sold my toy. Now, years later, have that itch back to play around with lost love again, but just a bit more class this time. Really appreciate all the help and info on this site. Keep em alive!!!
