My attempt at Dash board repair.

A while back I saw a thread by Coach where he was resurrecting a dash board. I was thinking about this while I was undercoating my floorboards. My dash has a big chunk out of the corner. Either the po's dog had chewed on it along with the steering wheel or it was broken off when the right hand side got all its scratches and dents.
So I Drilled a few holes into the dash and filled the cavity with insulating foam from a can.
The next day I cut off the extra foam and shaped it with sand paper. Then twice a day for the next few days I sprayed a coat of undercoating on it. The printable undercoating is about a 1/16 of an inch thick now.
This Rubberized undercoating has a texture that is close to that of the dash. It pliable enough that I don't think it will crack when bumped and it should be weatherproof and sun resistance. Will See....
Anyway I think it turned out pretty good so I though I'd pass it along.
