What do you do in the af? I did 27 years in fabrication

I didnt realize that my username could be taken as Air force..my mistake...My name is Floyd and I always have to explain to people on the phone its like" lloyd with a F" lol
 
You should have started the story with "Once upon a time I went to pick up my CJ....." :D Looking good so far, I'm at a stopping point right now on mine due to work. Reading the CJ build thread keeps my desire burning to finish. Keep up the good work.

Im glad you are enjoying the thread. I read jeep forums all day to stay motivated and to justify the outrageous amount of money spent on the project.:D. Ill be posting more pictures this week since I have a couple weeks out of school I will hopefully get some much needed work done on the jeep.
 
This is where is started Tuesday about 5 pm I spent about 2 hours the day before trying to get the tranny to go in. So I ended up pulling the clutch and pressure plate and realigning...got it in in 1 try first thing Tuesday.View attachment 8215

Got rid of the old shock mounts and welded some used mounts on.

I finally got the body about 3 pm tuesday so after I finished the driveline installed I got the body placed on the new 1" body lifts. I didnt put the pictures up but I hurculined the frame and front and back bumpers
