Been there and done that. That conch looks almost like a baby. Where is she in the Caribbean now ? My parents had a 9M catamaran. You have to be pretty skilled to get a conch out of its shell and know how to clean and filet it.

I have a good friend from long ago who now lives somewhere down in the islands on the Caribbean side of Panama on a French 42 ft. Cat. He and wife and son left SoCal years ago and worked their way through Mexico on the coast for like 2 years, then the rest of Central America and got to Panama. Then did a 2 month bus trip through most of South America.

That's me I go straight from white to lobster. I use SPF 100 and still burnNot anymore. I’ve done some of it. I need to really stay out of that sun now. I still go back down for a week or two, but I really have to watch out and cover up. The reflection off the water will burn me.
