That's awesome.

I'm SO looking forward to the day when I can do that. Maybe by the time the wife and I actually get around to having kids, and they get to be the age where they could enjoy that sort of thing, I'll have my CJ back into a somewhat useable condition.

Yep it's great riding around with the kids. When I bought the jeep 5 years ago I was thinking about getting a motorcycle, but then thought if I got a jeep the whole family could ride. Funny story, when we went to look at the jeep my oldest who was 5 at the time asked dad what does this do? He was referring to the window crank knob. Fun times ever since.

Sweet! I took my son camping two weekends ago and we did some wheeling too. I was trying to explain the 4wd system to him with locking the hubs/the extra shifter on the floor/the light on the speedometer. He's eight - not sure if he got it all but there is still time. Not looking forward to the discussion about how girls like jeeps and everything that that brings up.

I must agree. There's no other company I like more than my two little ones (5 and 10) riding along... Countryside is suddenly full of mystery, mother nature is magic and the CJ7 is some poorly understood super hero.
