I'm SO looking forward to the day when I can do that. Maybe by the time the wife and I actually get around to having kids, and they get to be the age where they could enjoy that sort of thing, I'll have my CJ back into a somewhat useable condition.

I'm jealous!

Yep it's great riding around with the kids. When I bought the jeep 5 years ago I was thinking about getting a motorcycle, but then thought if I got a jeep the whole family could ride.:) Funny story, when we went to look at the jeep my oldest who was 5 at the time asked dad what does this do? He was referring to the window crank knob.:laugh: Fun times ever since.:cool:
 
Sweet! I took my son camping two weekends ago and we did some wheeling too. I was trying to explain the 4wd system to him with locking the hubs/the extra shifter on the floor/the light on the speedometer. He's eight - not sure if he got it all but there is still time. Not looking forward to the discussion about how girls like jeeps and everything that that brings up.:eek:
