Can anyone out there give me some advice? . I am a new jeep owner. I bought a 1966 CJ5 that has the V-6 odd fire engine. I am having a hard time understanding what the type of drive train I have in the jeep. Providing that all is original, what type or name is the Transmission , Transfer Case , front axle, rear axle. I live in south orange county California. I am looking for the best price in rebuilding the engine, exchange to a long block is fine. Also looking for resources to buy items that will fit this year jeep. I can find stuff for newer jeeps but this age appears to be a challenge, (i.e. conversion to new disk brakes, newer seats that fit the old tracks,) stuff like that plus others. If possible a place to walk into and touch and feel. Also looking for the original owners manual, and or best books to help learn about THIS year jeep. Any help you can toss my way would be appreciated. Thanks jack
