I've bought many but only kept one.

The 73 :D

I've been known to take some gambles (more like calculated risks than betting money) but I don't take myself too seriously. Been using the same moniker on a variety of forums since Y2K.

From the song, "Brokedown Palace" by the Grateful Dead. I was a Spring touring Deadhead in the late 80's / early 90's before setting off on a Military Career. Although the days of no responsibility are far behind, the music still "rocks my soul" and is the standard playlist when riding around in "Bertha".

As a thirteen year old boy scout I guess I was kind of a hand full. Our scoutmasters were always talking about taking us fishing and do some trolling for alligators. For some reason I they always volunteered to be the bate!!! Thus I became Gatorbate.

I enjoy archery and go by Bowbender on the archery forum I hang out on.

 mine is not so inventive but easy for me to remember :) its my fathers name which I have been going by for years now as its easier to pronounce than my real name lol which translates to " son of Gert" Gertjan :chug:

A buddy wrote a book and based a character in the book off me, he named him Brock Grimes.

Also I can tell you that a Hayabusa will run 186, so can a police officer........

A buddy of mine in NC called me Scooter the first time he met me, then it stuck. Also kinda became my call sign over the radio when I was overseas in Iraq as one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children. It was better than our "typical" call signs being the phonetic of the first letter of our last name...that being Romeo, I didn't really care for it.

Then the 402 is the CID of my engine. So there we go!
