Natural Bridge Ky. July 12th & 13th

re: Natural Bridge Ky. July 12th & 13th

Alright the Jeep showed up. I only have a ton of things to do to it in the next 2 months. I dont think thats what everyone is scared of. Maybe you should shave or something? Deliverance? :chug:
Hey Pete there's been 136 views. Either noone thinks you will have a jeep by than, or no one wants to be alone in the woods with us.

re: Natural Bridge Ky. July 12th & 13th

yea, at night I have banjos playing in my head.
Can you squeal like a pig.

re: Natural Bridge Ky. July 12th & 13th

Thats officially going to end any late sign ups we mightve had. Vicki has been looking through the 2013 Official Visitors Guide to Kentucky. I may have to take another vacation day or 2 on top of it.

re: Natural Bridge Ky. July 12th & 13th

The Red River Gorge is just a couple miles away and has lots of natural bridges and is definitely worth a day or two of hiking.:)

Hows the daughter by the way? Ask her if she will induce labor so as to not effect our wheeling trip.

She just called last night after going to her doctor as a matter of fact.
Said she has had a couple of contractions, so I'm hoping the baby comes a little early, just not to early.

re: Natural Bridge Ky. July 12th & 13th

Pete, I'll be headed down there 2 times in May. There is a trail clean-up
and then the VFD fund raiser. I should have a good idea of what the trails
are like by the time you come down.:chug:
That's if my jeep survives Jellico the end of this month.

Good , itll be nice to get a scouting report. :) Vicki lended me a hand cleaning up the mess I made the last couple days not to mention over the winter. Keep your Cj together and I'll make sure mines up and running. I have a lighter work schedule in May.

As you can see Pete and myself have changed the date for the ride. (from June to July 12, 13th. Friday and sat.)
I hope the date change will allow some of you to make the ride with us even if it's only Sat.
We could really use a few more cj's to make for a safer ride if we run into any trouble.
I'm sure we can even get you a Jeep-cj .com windshield sticker. :chug:

With the new ride date getting closer, I thought I'd give you guys an idea of where we plan to ride if all goes well.
I hope this helps get some more cj's out for a ride with me and Pete.

If anyone wants we can also hit Damnation Alley but it can be tricky
and can take anywhere from 2 hours to all day, just depends on how it goes.

This should be a couple of fun days with lots of easy to med. trails that connect it all together.
A couple of the obstacles have by passes but most do not they are just part of the trail.
We will be on both forest service ground and private property so come join us in some fun.:chug:
