Just like the title says...

Just forward of the passenger side motor mount (well, where the motor mount used to be). Looks like a mount for something, but not sure.

It looks original to the frame. It had a AMC 304 in it and it was fairly close to the oil pan. I'm putting a 351w in and I'm thinking about cutting it out.

Just want to know what I'm cutting off before I do it...

Thanks. 209d23c06a426636c2dce415e1fd8d1f.webp

The bump stop or the brace from frame to frame ? image.webp image.webp

If you look at Belizeans pic you will see a ear off of the Dana 30 pinion area. You don't have that ear on yours. That's where the bump stop would engage. My bracket had been removed when the SBC was installed. I still have ear on the Dana 30 though.

Awesome! Thanks all. Looks like I won't be needing it!

Anyone know what year the ear disappeared/showed up?

Only asking because I know my CJ is a mishmash of years.
