need help wiring a factory tachometer.

I have a factory Tachometer that I picked up for the CJ, I did not pull it. I need to wire it but I do not know how critical the polarity is. If there is an unprotected transistor in the circuit and I get it backwards, it will be toast. It has a red w/white trace and a red w/black trace. the FSM shows two red wires the Chilton's and Haynes have no mention of it. I am hoping some one has a better reference source than I do.

thanks sly but it's the same thing I have, two red wires. update, the tach has a red with white trace and a solid red. one had black spray paint from PO.

Had one more diagram but factory was right again.PO just didn't know it.

regardless of what the PO did to the tach I still don't know what the polarity is for sure or if it is important. I guess with the FSM not showing a polarity I can hope there is none.
