I have an 82 CJ7 that th PO swapped a 4.0 and aw4 into. My tail lights don't work at all, dash lights don't work, and front markers only work when turn my blinkers on. My head lights work but that's it.
I'm good at drivetrains and such but not to sharp on the electrical side of things . I've checked fuses and the grounds. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like a blowen fuse. Have you checked your fuses?

I've checked what I could find because there's a cj fuse panel and a Cherokee one as well. I'm having to weed my way through.

With every thing I have owend when you blow the fuse for your lights the only thing that works is the headlights.

It may be a fuse I only got to check the Cherokee fuse block as it also has an xj steering column that uses the xj dimmer to dim the headlights.

Thanks for the schematics link I have concluded that it is bad wiring or bad connector as I ran a hot lead to the rear circuit and all started working. Now to the fun part, locating where the issue is
