Need Some Jeep Expert Help 74 CJ5 Accessories

Im looking for a good Winch Bumper/Brush Guard for a 74 CJ5 and all the decent ones i find are for a 76 and up.....Ive measured the Frame front end of a CJ7 and the width is the same. Im new to The JEEP world so, im clueless. Will 76 and up Bumpers/Brush Guards fit on a 74 CJ5 ?? ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED...also is there any other things they say "wont" fit that really will??

They are not an exact bolt on, you will have to do fab work. There are many custom bumper fabricators that will make one for you if you can't make your own.

I went through the same thing you are...

I made one (bumper) for the rear, ( (Link)-> Rear Towing bumper Info -< ) and when i get a winch will make one for the front too...

The threads a little long, but that is what i did... (the end shows it done...ish) I know it's not a masterpiece, but I am positive it wont break and loose my boat off a cliff And it looks pretty nice to me anyways lol

It really does seem like most dealers are only showing options for 76 and up, realized that myself... Now I've come to realize, that if i can't find it for our years, slight customization or fabrication like CJ says will usually work out, and in some cases be better / stronger.
