new fuel tank questions

ok so i just got in my new 21 gallon fuel tank in and the sending unit is already installed it has two lines coming out the top of the sending unit i know one is the return line i was just wondering will it hurt to cap that line off

Thats a good question do you need a return with a MC2100 carb?

no you do not. i removed the factory filter and disconnected all of that , mine has a filter before the pump, has an adjustable fuel press. reg, then goes straight to the carb, it works great

I don't know how far the line comes out from the tank but you might want to stub it off where its easy to get at.That way you don't have to drop the tank to get to it.
