Wow, really nice job on your rebuild!

I am sorry I didn't read your build thread sooner. We have a 67 CJ5 , and I think the hole placement for the lights is the same. I could have given you the measurements, but from the pics it looks like you have them already. I was looking for dimensions for the F-head 134 brackets for our 59. We are not doing a total restoration on the 59, but the 74 V6 that's in it now is coming out. I didn't find those either...Anyway your CJ is looking great!

Do you have a Mustang shop? We also have a 67 numbers matching Mustang in plastic boxes and in the barn. It runs great! Needs a little body work but not much. I have the seats stored in the house. This will almost be like a kit if we can ever get to it....

Thanks guys. Yes I do Mustang as well. I have several but do restoration work on many "pony" cars. But Mustangs are my specialty. Yes this car was rough to say the least. But my plan from the beginning was to make it a "farm" Jeep. So even though I did a tremendous amount of body work, I had the luxury of being able to cover it with bedlinner . Sure made it easy. I mean, I know what it takes to get it paint ready, that's what I do. And being able to cut the process short and spray bedliner on it was sweet It will make it very durable and able to go through the woods and have fun as well without worrying about scratches. However, being a bit of a nit . I wanted certain things to look a certain way. I know it doesn't make total sense in my case, but we all have our hangups

Nice job Pete. That body is probably the worst I've seen brought back to life, in a build thread.

I would agree 100% with Pa....................I mean I do love a challenge and have brought back several old rare cars from the dead , but I would have had to pass on that one................
Pete you should be commended for your hard work, love to see it when finished.

Well the Jeep is at my property where it will be used, so changes now will be slow. But I did get a tire and wheel package for it ]

even painted up a spare to mount on the side . .

These wheels will be run with a spacer since they come with too much negative offset being that they are from a GM 151 MUTT. But I like the military look and the price was right . . $50 with tires. I spent some time repainting and mounting etc, but it was worth it. Now as far as the Jeep goes, it's time to make the 3-point hitch for the rear to hold the farm implements.

Yeah I like the tires too. I have 4 of them although the pic only shows 3 plus the spare. They are 16" with a 4 1/2 wide rim, same size as the early 16" CJ wheels. Difference though as I stated is the offset. The tires are cracked, but I'm only using them on dirt, not worried. If I hit 20 mph I guess I'll be speeding

Well, my Jeep is at my new property and probably won't be used for almost a year from now. I still need to make the hitch system for the rear to run the farm implements. But I was there this week and was finally able to get the new Military wheels and tires on her. I like the look!!
