Hello all, it's great to be a part of such a fantastic club. I need a little help with a lower radiator hose. I was reading a forum here the other day about a bottom radiator hose that has a spring to keep it from sucking shut. Can anyone give me a part number and where to buy it? I can't find it anywhere . Thanks for all the help. Oh yeah, in the post I seen someone talking about it they said it is the X1. Does anyone know what that means?

Well I looked up autozone and it's $13.50 for a new lower hose for mine. And just did a google search and it's about $10 for a spring thru eBay so I would go with a new lower hose if it were me since you will have to go to the trouble of pulling the hose off anyway, and welcome aboard from Texas I love this board as well very friendly people here

...or you could get a non painted wire coat hanger and make your own!
I had to do this with the upper radiator hose as well given the water pump that I use with a restrictor plate.

Take that hose to NAPA auto parts and see what they have, that will work.
