1984 CJ-7 (just bought it, so I have to do some work and see what it has in it.. other than 4.2L Auto.. 4" lift, 33" tires... my '75 had a 304 2" Burbank supspension, warn winch, full cage, all the goodies, the '79 had a 401 turbo charged hi-po with t98 or 18, which ever one had the granny low first gear (never can remember which).. had all the items needed to 4wheel, none of the show and go poopie.. I don't believe "chrome will get you home"! I'm also not one to go out to see if I can tear up my jeep, I go where I must, usually with a group that I hung with.. Used to be part owner in Diablo Off Road Center in Concord California.. Jack Essex owned Diablo 4WD, George Clause was Mr. Base CAmp, and mine was "Sounds Etc" all under one big roof "the Diablo Off Road Center"..
1984 CJ7 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , auto, lockers front and rear, 4:10, 33" tires, 4" lift, Cadillac 2012 Escalade seats, Warn 9.5Cti, and more.. more to come too..

PO stole the wheels, console, radio, steering box, and a few other things.. he had nothing to do with these seats, I bought them and put them in myself.. he didn't tell me the jeep had a cracked roof from front to back, the windshield frame was 90% bondo, the cowl was all bondo, the fender were bondo'd, ... he didn't basically tell me the jeep had been rolled or a huge tree had fallen on it.. took a lot of work, a lot of new parts, but came out nice.. I paid top dollar for it and got a total rebuild job... NEVER buy from this shyster again!.. in the picture you can see what I bought as is.. had a radio, console (which needed recovering), nice wheels, expensive steering box, ..... well, after I paid for it, he delivered it, and all of that stuff was gone! I took the switches out of the seats, they went to a master computer in the Cadillac.. rewired through relays, and I'll use the switches in the new console I'm building.. then put entry lights (led's) in two of the holes and a black metal cap on the other hole..
