Damn this thing drives great. You wouldnt think a good set of tires would make the dif.Went from a 3/4 shot Cooper Discoverer to a almost new set of Mastercraft Courser MTs and wow.

A short wheelbase Jeep with a crude leaf spring suspension can be pretty sensitive. Keeping up maintaince with tire rotation, good shocks, tire balance, air pressure, and alignment all help to keep things smooth on the highway.

This CJ doesnt see much highway use.But I do take it a few miles to get to the country roads. It used to dart around but now it is at least civil to drive.
As many times as the frame has been welded and the springs tweaked and replaced a perfect alinement is not going to happen.
I am just glad it goes good now.The Cooper Discovery tires were on it when I got it 3 yrs ago and never handled good on road but were great in sand and trail and fair in mud.Hope these Mastercraft Coursers do better in mud and just as good in sand.
