Well my old tub was gone beyond repair that I felt I could do or wanted to do. So of course I turned to faithful CL. I thought there was no way in HE!! I would find a tub in better condition that was actually within the years of my 73. So after calling a guy that had said he was selling a complete 73 CJ5 with a disassebled 73, he said that I could have the tub for 200.00 bucks. So I loaded the wife up in the truck and drove 45 mins north to foot hills. Once I got there, I new his quote of there aint no rust anywhere was very wrong, but I said I will take the tub, if you will take 160. He said sure so me and my buddy and wife loaded it in the trailer and was paying and he said aint you getting the rest. So for 160.00 I got a tub, two fender, windshield frame, grill, hood, tail gate, and bunch of other :dung: he had in the barn. Only downfall was the bondo on the fenders and the floor pans need replaced on passenger and driver side. But my other tub was rotted in the rear, floor pans, rocker panels and all of the mounts underneath were gone. I can take care of the bends and flat metal, but the supports that are underneath, I don't see how I could make them and what could I make for support that would replace the rusted supports. thanks in advance.

Thanks CJ, I should be able to make my own pans, but not the supports. I emailed them to find out how much shipping would run me. So we see when I can get them here. Thanks again.

Glad to help. Be sure to roll a couple of good beads in those pans for strength... ;)
