actually, since minivans are used a lot for local type use, shopping, picking up kids, taking kids to events etc, you wouldn't need as big an engine or as many batteries and the minivan platform makes it more suitable for battery storage under the floor, a 100 mile range would be actually practical, only downside is the bastards would still charge 80k for a minivan. So will never sell in mass numbers.
