1978 Cj7 with a complete fiberglass body, Chevy 350 motor with Edelbrock carb and intake manifold, super Lift 3" lift fit, 33" tires on 12" wheels, stock 3 speed trans, stock transfer case, stock front and rear differences, complete rebuilt dash on stainless steal with stock gages, 1.5" wheel spacers, and best top seats and soft top.
The plastic piece under the steering wheel that the horn put pressure on is dry rotted and cracked. Can it be replaced with a GM after market horn kit or do I have to order a OEM ? I can't believe it's the only thing on the CJ7 that doesn't work. It's those little things that I want to get repaired and put to rest.

why not jjust get an OEM repair kit? Can't be all that much more expensive, but isn't the column you have a GM part anyways?

I just want to order parts. I'll try advanced auto, it's close.
