No Spark.....Need Ideas

Got an 84 CJ7 with an AMC 304 . Aftermarket coil and have done the team rush upgrade to the distributor 6 months ago.
It has been running great until last week. Went to crank it and it just kept turning over. Did all the checks based on the post on the technical forum. The coil was just out off the ohm ranges so I replaced it today. It actually ran for a minute but it was really rough then died. Checked for spark at the spark plug and nothing. Tried bypassing the ignition switch. Still nothing. Only other guess I have is the ignition control module but seems like those usually go out from overheating. When I last drove it had no problems so I didn't think that was it. I'm no mechanic but if I know the problem I can fix it. Obviously I suck at diagnosing. Any help would be awesome.
