np203 Transfer case ?

I have a 1980 CJ7 with a Chevy 350 and a TH350 Transmision. I bought this from an old farmer who just used it to truck around his farm. A lot of the jeep has been altered and welded. I spent 3 weeks getting all the weld a part and trying to fix all the jerry rigged parts. I am now on the Transfer Case and it looks like he has welded a piece of angle iron onto the shifter to move it around 2 inches to the motor. My question is there a conversion kit to do this or will I also have to fab something to make it work. I am guessing this was done so he didn't have to cut the floor pan.

I have never seen a kit for this, but since I haven't really looked I could have easily missed one...

If your comfortable fabbing one up - that is what I would do or try Novak Jeep Conversions - Home - they might have something for you.

So my next question is what is the pattern for a 203. I have manual locking hubs on the front. I have done some research and believe I read that they are all time 4WD. It seems like when I move the shifter the one gear moves fine but can't get the other bar going to the case shifter to move at all. Is it suppose to move or is only the one suppose to move.

the np 203 is not a jeep t/c. so I don't know much about it, but, Google np 203, lots of info out there.
