Off-Road survival Gear?

Off-Road survival Gear?
I have a little stove that burns unleaded gas, how convenient, and a 4 cup pot and two plastic coffee cups, at least three ways to make fire. I keep the recovery gear, gloves, snatch block ETC. and a jointed fan belt, pretty much one size fits all. A couple of hotel bars of soap and paper shop towels. The soap is an excellent belt dressing . A piece of canvas large enough to lay on . ratchet straps, two of them. four quarts of oil. A very large , very sharp knife. I try to keep the tools to a minimum. Things for special purposes. The screw driver that adjusts the carb and the wrench for the battery clamp, so a 1/2" 9/16" 7/16, 3/8 open end box end and an 8 way screw driver. some vice grips. a 12 volt work light, not a Q beam, you ever try to work by the light of a Q beam??

Lots and lots of DUCK TAPE!!!:D

^^^ agreed. I forgot to mention my travel hammock that folds down into a bag about the size of half a loaf of bread... Thing is great!

Frist aide and CPR training is a good thought, you might need to use it on me.

I never think of mentioning this, I am required to take a class each January so it is a given for me.

I just finished my yearly first aid CPR for my EEW back up cert. more than likely the same thing Baja has to take. If you don't have a AED on board or one within running distance, just let me go.

Large First aid kit, some wrenches, duct tape, a good friend or two to help and good walking shoes...LOL

wondering if we could set up a set of large pads to a high output alternator and use them as a..................................................................

Maybe wired up to a coil wire and an MSD-6??

I make it a hard and fast rule, never leave the house if your not dressed to walk home.

A CB Radio in the jeep.

In a pack I inventory before each outing:
A Portable/Handheld CB Radio.
Weather Radio.
First aid kit.
MRE's.
Water.
Misc Clothing.
Blankets.
Spare Batteries, which I rotate out.
2 LED flash lights, 1 hand crank light.
Leatherman multi-tool.
Magnesium fire starter.

Those are my minimum!

Spare parts don't do a dead man any good.
