Off-road tires that last - very little paved-road use.

I have a lifted CJ7 we use exclusively at our ranch on gravel roads and Jeep/horse trails. Weekly four mile drive for gas. The 37" Super Swampers are nearly bald on the front after five years. Previously had Baja Claws which were great but no longer made for 15” rims. Looking for recommendations. Getting larger wheels is an option.

I've been using a 33x12.5 r15 bfg mud terrian for years with no problem. Also I have had great luck with a 31x10.5 r15 Goodyear Wrangler authority

BFG A/T work very well with good tread life.

Bias tires over radials for mostly offroad use.
Q-78 bias tire is the best and longest lasting tire for New England terrain.

I've had decidedly mixed results with BFG's. I have KO2's on both of my 3/4 ton pickups, the 97 is on it's second set. They wear great (over 40k), and work very well on just about everything but real mud.

The 3B has a set of 12.5-33-15 KM1's and those have been really good on that rig. The caveat is it's pretty light at 3050 lbs. I usually run those at 12 psi on trail but have had them as low as 8 psi on non beadlock wheels and have yet to loose a bead.

The JK has 35-12.5-17 KM2's and I'm a little disappointed in those. Not only have they worn quickly (only going to go 20k something miles) but I have a half dozen outside tread blocks that completely sheared off. Those sheared blocks really altered the balancing and I have to run the two most affected on the rear or the dreaded death wobble makes an appearance. I'm not sure what I'll replace them with but it will not be more of the same.

Update on new tires. Found a great deal on five used beadlock wheels with 15x38x10.5 Super Swampers. Oh and the new ranch limousine...
