I sold my truck so i could get this 99 Jeep TJ. like i said its not a CJ but i got a great deal on it. It was a one owner driven by a woman and never off road she never even took the doors off of it. She only wanted 2 grand for it, and all it needs is tires. It will never beat my CJ though.

Looks good, even though it is a tj. Now your going to get spoiled riding around on thoes coils.:D Only 2 gs, nice find.

i have to say the ride is better but its not nearly as cool as riding in my CJ. I will take the rougher ride in the CJ any day.

use the tj to pull the cj to the trails. thats what i would do.

I admit, in the same situation I would have done the same thing. Now you can have a street jeep that you run around in all the time while sparing your CJ the street life.

I have to agree , I dont think many of us wouldve turned that down for $2000. 4 cyl.?

Yea its only a 4 cyl, thats the only bad thing about it. So I think the first mod to it will be finding a good 4.0. But before that there is a few things I need to do to the cj first.

you are going to want to find a complete drivetrain out of a TJ for it. If its a manual, that AX 5 won't stand up to a lot of abuse, especially with the 6 in front of it.

once i get my cj where i want it then i will start the tj project. It would be nice to find a wrecked rubicon and get the drivetrain out of it.

great find
offroad that is probably the best platform Jeep ever made. but it does not have the soul of a CJ. I loved my TJ, I just love my CJS soooooooooooooo much more.
