Old Man Emu?

Old Man Emu?
mtnwhlr: The ride is DEFINITELY better! much nicer on the bumps on the road. I haven't reconnected the sway bar ends so it's got some wander, but I'm hoping that'll be resolved.

PaRenegade: nope, the sleeves and bushings do not have holes in them. I just put everything together like they instructed. I figured that if the engineers did their jobs, it'll be good. If they failed and forgot to allow grease to get to the crucial parts, it'll be like any other setup w/o the ability to grease.

I'm pleased with it, but can't drive it too far on the road due to inspection renewal needed (appointment next week). Until then I'm doing exhaust work and other stuff. Still need to grease leafs which I'm told will help too.

i love the ride of my OME suspension (light springs) yj conv.

with a winch i would look at medium to heavy

if you already have one

What did you get?

I got the heavy duty springs on all 4 corners and I'm glad I did. Don't have a winch yet, but will at some point.

I have yj medium duty on the front and heavy on the back because I have a hardtop on my yj. It rides nice. When I first put them on, I had them backwards with the heavies on the front, it was very very rough riding and bouncy. I gained about 3" in lift also so I took off my boomerang shackles because I don't want to do a custom driveshaft till I swap motors and Transmission .

I know, not a Cj but my yj is an 87 and I use as much Cj diagrams as possible to make my yj run better. I have no more electronic carb and no miles of vacuum lines, I redid my vacuum system to a three line system, brake/ cruise on one, heater doors on one, and distributor/4x4 on the last.

Great! Glad to hear you made it through!
I ended up leaving my 3 1/2" lift. I installed a Warn winch and bumper, removed the rubber bushings in the front end and installed polyurethane.
I installed a set of SkyJacker M95's too.
I think the M95's are awesome!
I can actually drive it on the highway now without wandering all over the place, and the bumps in the road don't knock my teeth loose anymore, and, the CJ stays straight on track. lol
The extra weight probably helped, but I'm really sold on the M95's!
It's totally different, in fact, I'm probably going to keep the 3 1/2" lift that's on it presently.

You wont regret the heavys :chug:

OKguys

I'm looking to replace the front (cs036) with the heavy springs. Axle wrap with a SSR

Looking at the OME catalog I can only find the medium (cs036) and the light (cs037).

Anybody have the heavy PN?

They don't make a heavy front spring. The rear heavies (CS036) are typically used for the front. OME only makes 3 springs for Wranglers 036,037, & 014's. You got the heavy ones now.

It was my understanding that the CS036's where the heavys? Maybe something has changed since being made in Dakar??

No, mine are the Dakar's and they're CS036's. I put them on all 4 corners.
