Also dislike the dang new gas cans.. I've got a 5 gallon for the lawn tractor and wow it's fun trying to push down the spout while holding it just right to get fuel out.. I spliced my hand on it by getting my skin pinched.. and last weekend it leaked on my grass... which is no bueno.

I've live down in "No Grass" land for so long it slipped my mind that people still mow their lawns and have to deal with these darned things all the time. I can't help but wonder how environmentally friendly the new snouts could possibly be when they leak more gas than the older cans ever did.

I got some old cans I thought were junk when I bought them now I love them.I wonder what they will come up with next.

I keep a small funnel with a small hose connected to it behind the back seat.. its takes a bit longer to fill but it keeps the liquid gold from hitting the ground....

Went to Tractor Supply and got the snout Brother Elwood mentioned. Got the high flow version, it comes with what essentially is a length doubler, I like it. Also stopped into Harbor Freight and got their syphon hose, they say it moves 5 gallons in a couple minutes. We will see, hopefully not any time soon.
