Pretty cool story about some Scouts (as in Boy Scout not as in IH Scout) from South America who went to Alaska and back in a CJ3b in the 50's. 3 guys driving that far in a tiny CJ3... pretty incredible.

Agreed. That would be a spectacular feat now, but you wouldn't find that kind of hospitality........Unless you just planned your trip around with members of the Jeep-CJ Forum!
