Caster,it is talked about in TDHofstetters sticky http://www.jeep-cj.com/forums/f19/troubleshooting-correcting-your-steering-4106/ It would contribute to wandering but worth checking as is everything in the write up.Thanks for the responce. When I bought the Jeep The guy sead he had just put the lift on. When I went over it with a friend every thing looked new and there were no worn out parts that we could find we went over it very well and did ajust the steering box. How do I know what the steering ratio is ? Sasquach sead to look at something I'm not real shure what he is talking about.Sorry I'm just learning with your help.thanks again![]()
Hay I had posted this thread last year and got away from the site for so loung that I forgot my password. But with the help of a new friend "Wreck" and an old friend "CJ" I am back!!!! After a loung time and alot of questions I found the simpel solution "BAD POWER STEERING PUMP" it would kick in and out and couse unstable steering and wounder down the road. New tires made a big difference as well. I never had a leck on out of my pump but the berrings were bad. I diden't know if anyone was still looking at this post or not but I wounted to let you know PROBLEM SOULVED!![]()
