In the process of different jobs there is different parts being R&R. what should a person do to paint bracket etc. Por works but is labour intenseive, is there a paint that works reasonable and seems to last and dries quick?

x2 - that's what I've been using on mine too. I've been priming everything first with rustoleum auto primer.

I will give rustolem a try. Do they make the auto primer in a can.

Yeah.. I grabbed some "industrial stuff.. I think it has a pic ofa hard hat on it.. I didnt go looking for it but the place Iworked at ended up with 10 extra cans of it so they let me take em.. the primer wasnt "automotive" but it was the same make as the paint.. all rattle can stuff.

I've been getting the auto primer in a rattle can. I found it at Lowe's, which is great cause my wife works there and gets a discount, but I also found it at the local Ace Hardware.

So far, except for the frame, my whole Jeep is painted with rustolium rattle cans, self etching primer, undercoating, everything. Haven't tried any of the shiny stuff yet, but I'm sure it'll be durable.
