If you still have the oem seats they must be pretty tired by now, I sure was glad to get rid of mine. Anyway, the bolt pattern is the same for both sides so there should not be a problem. Just as a suggestion, you could install a couple strips of aluminum instead of the sliders and drill holes to put the location of the seat where you want it. If you have aftermarket seats and slider, it still might require some drilling.
i took the sliders out of my CJ5 . put me too close to the roof, and steering wheel. just drilled new holes in the mounts so the seat would be as far back as possible. being over 6 feet and in a CJ5 is a tough task.
I hope you can. I plan on doing this too. With the roll cage added the pass seat is a bit too far forward. I have a spare slider from the drivers side that I'll use. Where there's a will theres a way, right?

If you just add the slider, your passenger seat will be about an inch higher than the driver seat. IF you care about it matching and want it correct, use a YJ passenger riser as they are shorter to include the riser.
