I have an '83 CJ7 with the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l in it. The guy who owned it before me put a weber 2 barrel carb on it. Does anyone have any pics or advice as to where the hoses associated with the PCV connect to the carb?

Thanks

The basic pvc system consists of the pcv taking blow by from the crankcase to the intake via the carb. The pvc will prevent a backwards flow like from a backfire. Another hose goes from the air cleaner to the valve cover for clean air to the crankcase. Or, at least thats the way I see it. Google it.

i changed my dads AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l over to a motorcraft carb. i ran the pcv hose straight to the intake below the carb. there was a port already there that i took out and got a brass nipple (national pipe thread)and threaded it in there to hook it up to. the port im talking about had a big bolt looking thing with small vacuum line hook ups on it.

There should be a connection in one of the 2 plates that adapt the Weber to the manifold.
